Hello fellow old time radio fans!
We're still on track for the October 16th premiere of The Glowing Dial LIVE! We hope all of you will be there listening! It will mean a lot to me if you are, this being the first show and all. We might have an event happening too, all 3 of my co-hosts there at once! Here's hoping.
The show starts at 4pm Eastern and goes to 7pm Eastern. We have some fun stuff planned and that includes YOU! Yes, we want you to call in to the Live show! You'll need Skype for this so download it if you don't already have it. Our Skype account is: The Glowing Dial LIVE. LIVE is supposed to be in all caps. Find us and make us one of your regular contacts! Remember NOT to call until I ask for calls as we may have an interview going on beforehand.
We plan to talk to our own Jerry Haendiges. I'm also going to try to get Martin Grams, Jr. prolific author of many books on old time radio! I'll even be playing all our old Celebrity Interviews from the late 90s from time to time!

On October 30th, we're doping our Halloween Live show with lots of goodies planned, but after the show, don't go anywhere because at 7:30pm Eastern, I will come back on the air and I'll be playing our 2003 Glowing Dial tribute to War Of The Worlds. It will be timed so that The Merciry Theatre's version of WOTW will start right at 8pm Eastern, just like it did on CBS 78 years ago to the night. Of course, part of that tribute is our own tongue-planted-firmly-in-cheek version of WOTW, a classic to be sure ... or is it?
And we have our latest episode of The Glowing Dial tri-weekly podcast also premiering this Sunday, October 16! Look for the announcement here that morning.
