The Glowing Dial Page Update

Glowing Dial Page Update

Hello folks!
Just a note to say that I've made a few changes to The Glowing Dial Page at http://www.glowingdial.com .

First, as previously announced, I have deleted The Glowing Dial Discussion List and have removed the link from the page's main menu at the left of the page. The reason once again for this deletion was that it wasn't really active and the information posted there by me was simply a duplication of what's already available on The Glowing Dial Archives Blog.

Secondly, I have added download links to all the previous episodes of the show which are listed at http://www.glowingdial.com/archived_shows_list.html . This page is also known now as The Glowing Dial Archives and it is here that you can now download every past episode of the show.

Alternately, you can do this through your podcatcher program if you subscribe to the podcast that way. Just click on "feed" in your podcatcher program and a download link should be available for all past episodes as well as the episode currently running.

Once again, sorry about the current loss of The Glowing Dial LIVE. As mentioned on the page, my financial condition is dire indeed and I cannot afford the $20 a month that doing the Live show costs me. If someone were to donate that $20 on a regular basis, we would be able to continue with the Live show. To date, no one has volunteered that unfortunately. If someone is interested, I would have to have a firm commitment from them that the $20 monthly donation would continue. Please e-mail me at glowingdial@wowway.com if you are interested in making this happen.

Thanks and I'll see you on the radio!

A note on The Glowing Dial LIVE

Hi listeners,

Just thought I'd drop a line to tell you that The Glowing Dial LIVE will no longer be broadcasting. At least for the time being. It costs me $20 a month to do the show live and I cannot afford it. My finances are very tight indeed, tough to even afford my food and gas after all bills are paid. Sorry but that's the way it has to be right now. The only way to go on with the Live show would be if someone volunteered to make that payment for me but I would have to have a firm commitment from them and have the $20 in time to make the payment each month. If my finances improve (hardly likely at this point), I will continue the Live show.

The tri-weekly podcast WILL continue however so we aren't totally going away. Steve and I will be with you every three weeks. My health has been a problem, especially for the past 2-3 months which is why we have had delays in the podcast. I hope to get some kind of handle on things and have shows up regularly.

Thanks for all your support!
