Hello listeners, I have some great news for everybody!
The Glowing Dial LIVE
with Big John and Company
Yes, we're about to start broadcasting The Glowing Dial LIVE with Big John and Company! This will be an extension of our ongoing tri-weekly podcasts which will continue as usual.
With the LIVE show, we hope to be able to take calls from you, our listeners! You can call in (one at a time for now) via SKYPE and talk with us and even request old time radio shows!
If we have the show at hand, we'll play it for you almost immediately! There will also be a chat room active during the show so you can chat with us! You'll probably have to go to http://mixlr.com/glowingdial to access the chat room.
We'll see after the bugs are worked out of this new system.
The Glowing Dial LIVE will most likely air on Sundays from 4pm to 7pm EST. A premiere date is still being worked out and at this point we may only do 1 show per month, maybe 2.
The show will be able to be heard LIVE at our website glowingdial.com on our Shows page where you have been going for our tri-weekly podcasts. Don't worry, we'll make sure you know when the next show will be. Check our Shows page as well as our Facebook Page, Blog and Discussion List for updates and show dates!
Nothing to hear right now except two test broadcasts we did yesterday.
We want all our listeners to tell all your otr friends about this because we want to be broadcasting to a lot of people, not just ourselves. We hope that you'll also call in via SKYPE to talk to us about otr and things nostalgic as well as request shows like I said above. Also make sure you comment via Facebook and Twitter so all your friends can learn about us. Start following us thru Mixlr too.
A big thanks to Adam Savage (former Mythbuster) and his blog, which is where I learned about Mixlr. Wish us luck with this venture and remember too, we can use any donations you might be able to send our way.
